TNM OLD SCHOOL RULES
1. Starting your
new circuit
1.1. Your new
circuit may be either booked or unbooked.
1.2. You will be
running 1 card per week.
1.3. You will not
have pay-per-view cards to begin with, as they will be added
later on, once you have established your circuit. For now, your
main focus should be putting on an entertaining card each week.
1.4. You will need
to set up 4 referees, designating one of them as your “senior
referee”. Or you may use TNM’s default refs.
1.5. All matches
should have a standard time limit of 20 minutes
1.6. Semi-main event
matches may be given a 30 minute time limit upon your own
discretion.
1.7. All main event
matches should have a 60 minute time limit and should be
refereed by your senior referee.
1.8. You should also
set up 1 singles title and 1 tag team title.
2. Choosing
wrestlers
2.1. You are going
to hire a total of 20 wrestlers for your new circuit.
2.1.1. 10 will be
heels and 10 will be faces.
2.1.1.1. You
MUST always have an even number of heels and faces in your
circuit for these rules to work properly.
2.1.1.2. If
you turn one wrestler from one side to the other, then you must
also turn another wrestler to offset this. i.e. You make face
wrestler A into a heel. Therefore you must make heel wrestler B
a face.
2.1.1.3. The
reason for this is that heels MUST always wrestle against faces,
UNLESS it is in a tournament setting within your circuit. At no
time should you put face vs face or heel vs heel unless it is
stated within the rules!
2.1.2. Of these 20
wrestlers, you are going to designate 1 wrestler as your
“franchise” wrestler by giving them a 52 card contract. This
wrestler may be either heel or face.
2.1.3. Everyone
else should receive a contract for 26 cards.
3. Month 1 -
Booking your first month of cards!
3.1. Week 1
3.1.1. For your
first card, you want to give the fans some idea of who is on
your roster, so in your first main event, feature your
“franchise” wrestler in singles competition.
3.1.2. For your
first match ever, give your fans something to talk about. Put
together two tag teams featuring some high flyers from your
roster.
3.1.3. With the
first and last matches out of the way, you still need to fill in
the middle of the card. Within the mid-card, you should have at
least one more tag team match and at least one “hardcore”
singles match. This “hardcore” match can be anything within the
limits of TNM.
3.1.4. Make sure
that every wrestler on your roster is working on this first
card. Remember you are trying to build your fan base!
3.2. Week 2
3.2.1. For your
main event this week, take the two singles wrestlers that fought
in week 1’s main event, and have them each team up with the
singles wrestlers that fought in week 1’s “hardcore” match. And
for a little bit of excitement, make this tag team main event
some type of gimmick match.
3.2.2. Now that we
have 4 of the 20 wrestlers on the roster booked in the main
event for this week, let’s book the other 16 of them. You
should still have 8 faces and 8 heels left to put into matches,
this means you can make 4 teams on each side. Since we need to
crown tag team champions, run a one night only tournament for
your tag team titles. All first round matches for this tourney
should be face teams against heel teams.
3.3. Week 3
3.3.1. The main
event this week, should feature a rematch from the tournament
finals last week for your tag team titles.
3.3.2. Now to add
in a couple semi-main events… The wrestlers in last week’s main
event want singles matches against each other. So which ever
guys faced off on week 1, will not face each other this week.
3.3.3. One of your
face tag team’s needs to issue an “open challenge”. Using the
“m” key, bring in a new tag team for the week to answer their
challenge.
3.3.4. The rest of
your roster should work in singles matches this week.
3.4. Week 4
3.4.1. Your main
event again this week is a rematch from week 2’s main event.
However, this time, the special stipulation for the match is
that the heel team gets to choose their own referee for the
bout. This ref should be one of the heel wrestlers on the
roster.
3.4.2. This week,
the rest of the card is up you. Make sure that everyone on the
roster makes an appearance whether it be as a wrestler, a
referee, or just for an interview.
4. Month 2 - The
crowning of a champion
4.1. Long-term
planning
4.1.1. For week 8,
you will be running a 1 night only tournament for your top
singles title. This card will feature only 8 of your
wrestlers. Which 8 will it be? Each week will have
instructions on to do this.
4.2. Week 5
4.2.1. Start this
week with qualifier matches for the month-end title tournament.
Your qualifier matches can be in ANY format as long as the most
wrestlers that you qualify this week is 3. (you may opt to have
no one qualify this week as well)
4.2.2. The mystery
tag team that you brought in last week should call out and
confront one member of your tag team champions. This is to set
up a match for week 6.
4.2.3. Your main
event this week should feature the wrestler that scored the pin
in last week’s main event and the wrestler that was pinned.
Give the other two wrestlers from last week’s main event, the
week off.
4.3. Week 6
4.3.1. In this
week’s main event, put the two guys that had the “hardcore”
match in week 1 against each other in some type of gimmick
match.
4.3.2. Have a
semi-main event featuring your tag team champions answering the
challenge from last week. This will be the mystery team’s only
match unless they win your tag team titles.
4.3.3. Continue
your qualifier matches that you started last week. At the end
of this week’s card, you should have 7 wrestlers in all
qualified for the tournament for the title in two weeks. Leave
one spot empty, as we will fill it next week.
4.4. Week 7
4.4.1. This week,
to open your card, have a non-title tag team match featuring
your tag team champions against one of the top teams in your
circuit.
4.4.2. Your main
event match this week is going to determine your eighth and
final spot in your tournament to crown a singles champion next
week. This spot will be decided by putting everyone on your
roster that has not already qualified into a battle royal. You
can decide what type of battle royal you want to have.
4.4.3. In your
semi-main event this week, have the top face in each half of
your tournament bracket team to face the top heel in each half
of the tournament bracket.
4.4.4. Round out
the card with four other matches this week.
4.5. Week 8 - Major
card!
4.5.1. This week
your card will feature a total of ONLY 8 wrestlers.
4.5.2. These 8
wrestlers are the ones that have qualified during the month to
earn a shot at your top singles title.
4.5.3. Set up your
tournament so that all first round matches feature a heel versus
a face as much as possible.
5. Month 3 -
Building up feuds
5.1. Long term
planning
5.1.1. Just
remember to keep heels versus faces in your matches during the
month
5.2. Week 9
5.2.1. In your
main event this week, have your singles champion that was
crowned last week face off in a rematch against the wrestler
they defeated in the final match of the tournament.
5.2.2. In your
opening match on this card, have a 30 minute tag team match to
determine your #1 contender for your tag team titles. This
match should feature two teams that fought in the first round of
your tag team tournament in week #2.
5.2.3. Give 2 of
your wrestlers the week off, while the other 18 work.
5.3. Week 10
5.3.1. In your
main event this week, your tag team champions are set to defend
against the #1 contenders as determined in the opening match
from week 9.
5.3.2. In your
opening match, have a #1 contender match for your singles
title. Also, either during or after the match, have one of the
wrestlers that you gave last week off, make their presence known
by interfering, but again give them the week off from wrestling.
5.3.3. Put the
other wrestler that had last week off in a tag team match this
week.
5.3.4. Give one
other wrestler the week off (if the wrestler in point 5.3.2 is a
heel, then this wrestler should be a face; if they are a face,
then this wrestler should be a heel.)
5.4. Week 11
5.4.1. In your
main event this week, your singles champion is to defend against
the #1 contender as determined last week.
5.4.2. Your tag
team division is starting to heat up. Have two teams that are
not your tag team champions do battle in some type of gimmick
match.
5.4.3. Your
opening match this week, should be a rematch of one of last
week’s matches.
5.4.4. Give two of
your midcard wrestlers the week off.
5.5. Week 12
5.5.1. Your tag
team champions are looking for a challenge this week as they
defend the titles in the main event. Give them one. Put
together two wrestlers from your circuit that normally don’t
team with each other and give them a title shot.
5.5.2. Have a
towel match as your opener this week using wrestlers from last
week’s gimmick tag team match as both the wrestlers and holders
of the towels.
5.5.3. In your
semi-main event, have a 2-on-1 handicap match.
5.5.4. Give three
wrestlers the week off that haven’t had a week off yet.
6. Month 4 -
Ending feuds and starting new ones.
6.1. Long term
booking
6.1.1. Expect to
end some feuds on week 14. However, begin to build for a big
feud involving several wrestlers that will have a blowoff match
on week 20.
6.2. Week 13
6.2.1. To open
this week, have the participants from last week’s handicap match
face off in a regular tag team match, with the wrestler that was
by themselves last week picking a partner from your current
roster to even up the odds.
6.2.2. It seems
someone is holding a grudge on your roster. Have a rematch from
one of your qualifier matches from month 2.
6.2.3. Some of
your wrestlers have some unfinished business from last week.
Have a return match from last week.
6.2.4. In your
main event, give a singles title match to someone that hasn’t
had one on your roster yet.
6.3. Week 14 - Let’s
end some feuds!
6.3.1. In your
main event, have your tag team champions defend against at least
one of the guys they faced in the tag title match in week 12.
They may or may not still have the same partner.
6.3.2. Have the
winner of the towel match from week 12 face the person that
threw in the towel for the loser. This should be some type of
gimmick match. The loser of this match will be taking next week
off.
6.3.3. Give two of
your wrestlers the week off from wrestling. However, have one
of them cut a promo challenging the singles champion for next
week.
6.3.4. In your
opener, have the two men that joined forces for last week’s
opener wrestle against one of the teams or stables from your
roster.
6.4. Week 15
6.4.1. In your
opening match, using the “m” key, bring in a new wrestler to
face any wrestler on your roster.
6.4.2. Give three
wrestlers the week off from wrestling in addition to the
wrestler that lost last week’s gimmick match.
6.4.3. Have a
rematch this week from the opening match from week 13. In this
match, have a wrestler turn on his partner. Two of the
wrestlers that have the week, need to make the save in this one
to even up the sides.
6.4.4. In your
main event, have your singles champion face the wrestler that
issued the challenge last week.
6.5. Week 16
6.5.1. Your
opening match this week is going to be your semi-main event.
You should have a 6 man tag team match featuring the six
wrestlers involved in the split up from rule # 6.4.3.
6.5.2. In your
main event, your tag team champions are to defend against a tag
team that won during week 14.
6.5.3. Due to the
great title match they gave us last week, give the two wrestlers
that were in last week’s main event the week off.
6.5.4. The loser
of last week’s main event did however tape a promo segment that
will air this week. During this promo, he will make a challenge
to someone on the roster other than the champion.
6.5.5. The new
wrestler you brought in last week, should work this week in the
match just before the main event. Give him an opponent that
would be considered one of the tough guys of your roster.
6.6. Week 17 (yes a
five week month!)
6.6.1. Your
opening match this week should be your semi-main event. It is
going to be a tag team match featuring the person that won last
week’s opening match and one of his teammates from last week
against the person that lost the opening match last week and one
his teammates in that match.
6.6.2. Looking
back to week #1, we are going to have one-on-one non-gimmick
match between the two wrestlers that were in the gimmick match
on that very first card.
6.6.3. Your tag
team champions should wrestle this week in a non-title match,
but they should NOT face the same team they fought last week.
6.6.4. On week 15,
you brought in a mystery wrestler. This wrestler thinks they
can win your singles title. Give him the main event match
against your singles champion.
6.6.5. No one should get the
week off this week, unless they no-show, meaning someone may
have to work at least twice to cover for them.
7. Month 5 -
The Road to a Mega-Card!
7.1. Long-term
planning
7.1.1. Build
toward a WarGames style match on week 20. Just remember that
you will need to have at least 4 other matches on that card, so
don’t overload your teams with too many wrestlers as you don’t
want to have anyone working twice on the WarGames card, unless
there is a no-show.
7.1.2. Your
teams for this WarGames match should be heel vs face.
7.2. Week 18
7.2.1. Your
opening match is going to be your semi-main event again this
week. This time it will be a singles match and will feature the
winner facing the loser of last week’s opening match.
7.2.2. Your
designated “franchise” wrestler that you gave that lengthy
contract to has something on his mind. Give him the opportunity
to say what he wants this week as he reveals the first member of
his team for WarGames.
7.2.3. Give
one heel and one face the week off.
7.2.4. Your
main event is going to feature your tag team champions defending
their titles. Pick a team your champs have faced in the past
and give them a match.
7.3. Week 19
7.3.1. Back
on week 4, you had a wrestler from your roster that refereed a
match. Tonight, that same wrestler has been handpicked to
referee the main event singles title match. The match should
feature your champion taking on a worthy opponent, someone that
will be on the opposing team at WarGames, as your champion has
decided he wants into the big cage as well as his opponent
tonight. And oh yeah… your referee in this match will ALSO be a
wrestler in WarGames next week.
7.3.2. Your
tag team champions have a rematch from last week scheduled on
tonight's card. For some reason they didn’t get enough time for
their match last week. Give them a 60 minute time limit this
week.
7.3.3. The
wrestler that is refereeing your main event is also scheduled to
wrestle a mystery opponent tonight. Using the “m” key give him
an opponent.
7.3.4. Your
opening match should be a rematch of a match from last week,
except that it needs to be a no countout match.
7.3.5. And…
if they are not already scheduled on the card this week, have
your team captains for WarGames meet in singles action.
However, if they are already scheduled, then have a singles
match with two wrestlers scheduled for the WarGames that don’t
have a match on the card so far this week as this should be a
“preview” to the carnage of WarGames.
7.4. Week 20
7.4.1. Last
week you brought in a mystery wrestler using the “m” key, this
week you need to hire a wrestler to offset this wrestler on your
roster. So if your mystery wrestler was a face last week, then
hire a heel. If it was a heel, then hire a face this week.
7.4.2. This
week’s main event is to be your WarGames match. You should have
at least 4 wrestlers per team. And your teams should be made up
of the wrestlers that have been put together in the last two
weeks. However, one of your wrestlers has decided to back out
of WarGames. You should fill their spot with the “mystery”
wrestler from last week.
7.4.3. The
two wrestlers that fought in your opening match last week should
have some type of gimmick match this week.
7.4.4. And
the wrestler you hired in rule 7.4.1 before this week’s show
should be making his debut this week. However, he’s not too
impressed with your roster. Give him a match with a mystery
opponent using the “m” key.
7.4.5. Make
that everyone is on the card this week in some fashion, even if
it means cutting a promo for a couple of them.
7.4.6. And
make sure that in addition to WarGames you have at LEAST 4 other
matches on this card.
7.5. Week 21
7.5.1. After
the dust settled from WarGames, you found out that one of your
wrestlers has decided to retire due to an injury sustained in
the match. Choose a wrestler from the match (other than the
wrestlers that won and lost the fall) and give him his release.
7.5.2. The
wrestler that you hired last week and the mystery wrestler are
going to be your opening match this week. They should have some
type of gimmick match. And this match should be the last we see
of this “m” key mystery wrestler unless he is rehired at a later
point.
7.5.3.
Uh-oh… it looks as if you’ve got some respect forming between a
heel and a face. Two wrestlers that fought in a singles match
last week, should this week form a tag team, to take on two
wrestlers that were on the losing side of the WarGames match.
And by the way, since the cage last week was so confining, make
this one a falls count anywhere match. You may add other
stipulations as you see fit.
7.5.4. Your tag team champions are being petitioned by the
fans to have a non-title match against a team that once held the
titles in your circuit. Give the fans what they want.
7.5.5. Give
the person that lost the fall in WarGames this week off. Also
give one other wrestler the week off.
7.5.6. And
in your main event this week, your singles champion should
defend against the person that got the winning fall at WarGames…
even if they were on the SAME team!
7.5.6.1. If your singles champion
got the winning fall at WarGames, have them issue an open
challenge to ANYONE on your roster. Using the "r" key give your
champion an opponent.
8. Month #6
8.1. Long Term Planning
8.1.1. After week 26, several of your wrestlers' contracts are
set to expire, so keep this in mind as you build toward the card
for week 26, as you will want to have some feuds ending on this
card.
8.1.2. Also begin to plan for an 8 man tag team elimination
match (think 4-on-4 survivor series style match)
8.2. Week 22
8.2.1. Give the winner of last week's main event match, this
week off.
8.2.2. Again this week, the person that lost the fall in the
WarGames match in week 20 should get the week off to recover.
8.2.3. Your main event match this week should feature your tag
team champions defending against a team that lost a match on
last week's card. It should not be the team that faced the
champions in the non-title match however.
8.2.4. That team that the fans petitioned for the non-title
match last week should wrestle again on this week's card in a
tag team match.
8.2.5. One of the main heels on your roster has requested some
interview time this week. Give him what he wants. Rumour has it,
he wants to join forces with one of the men in last week's main
event. Can this be possible?
8.2.6. That new team that formed in week 21 of the heel and the
face from their mutual respect, have requested the week off, so
that they can train and work on their timing as a team. Give
them what they want. And don't forget that when they come back
next week, they should both be on the same side of the roster
(either both heels or both faces) but remember you have to have
a minimum of 10 faces and 10 heels on your roster when you do
this, so you may need to turn someone else to meet your roster
minimums.
8.3. Week 23
8.3.1. Your main event this week should be a singles title
rematch from week 21.
8.3.2. The team of mutual respect should be in your opening
match this week, which should also be your semi-main event. And
while your at it, give the match some special stipulations and a
special referee that just so happens to be one of the wrestlers
from your roster that won't be wrestling on this week's card.
8.3.3. For the third straight week, give the loser of the fall
from the WarGames match at week 20 this week off as far as
wrestling goes. He should make a special guest appearance either
during or after the main event this week though.
8.3.4. Your tag team champions should wrestle in singles matches
this week. However, one should face a wrestler from one team in
your circuit, while the other faces a wrestler from a different
team in your circuit.
8.3.5. Everyone not mentioned in the above rules for week 23,
should be wrestling in matches on this week's card.
8.4. Week 24
8.4.1. Your main event this week should be a tag team title
match with your champions defending against one of the two teams
that your champions wrestled in singles matches last week.
8.4.2. Your team made from respect should also be in tag team
action this week.
8.4.3. Your special referee from the opening match last week has
issued an "open challenge" to anyone on the roster. Have him
call out a wrestler that is on the opposite side, only for it to
be someone from the same side the challenger is on to accept it.
(if you referee was a face, then he should face a face this
week; if the ref was a heel, then he should face a heel). And
while you're at it, make this a "specialty gimmick match" for
the wrestler accepting the challenge.
8.4.4. In your opening match this week, you should have a 6 man
tag match featuring members of the WarGames teams from week 20,
this is to include the return of the man that lost the fall in
WarGames.
8.4.5. No one gets this week off, unless they decide to no-show
the event.
8.5. Week 25
8.5.1. In your main event this week, the wrestler that made his
return last week should face your singles champion.
8.5.2. Your tag team champions should have a non-title match on
this card.
8.5.3. The wrestler that issued the "open challenge" last week
should wrestle another of the wrestlers on the same side of the
roster as him again this week. This match should again have some
sort of special stipulations, but it should not be the same type
of match as last week.
8.5.4. The team made from respect has decided that they are
better off as singles wrestlers, but that they will still remain
friends. Have them each wrestle in singles matches this week.
8.5.5. The opening match, your semi-main event, this week should
feature the two guys that were team captains at WarGames in a
rematch from week 19.
8.5.6. Again this week, no one gets the week off as we build to
next week's BIG CARD.
8.6. Week 26 - Contract week!
8.6.1. Your opening match should be your 4-on-4 elimination
match and because this is a special match this week, let's make
it a no time limit match!
8.6.1.1. In this match, have two wrestlers make a surprise turn
on their team (don't forget to switch them from heel to face or
face to heel after the card as well).
8.6.2. Your main event match this week should feature your tag
team champions defending against a team that won a match on last
week's card. And to make this match different than all the rest,
give them the steel cage to work with!
8.6.3. Have two teams face off to be the #1 contender team. One
team should be a regular team from your circuit, the other team
should consist of one of the guys that formed your "team
respect" and a new partner from within your current roster.
8.6.4. Also, tonight on your card, you should have an
"unsanctioned" (i.e. no disqualification, no countout match)
match that features two wrestlers currently not under contract
to you. Using the "m" key book a singles match on this card.
8.6.5. Again make sure everyone on your roster wrestles this
week as this is a card that should showcase all of the talent on
your roster.
8.7. Special Post Week 26 Contract Rules
8.7.1. Two members of your current roster, one heel and one
face, have been doing a great job. Reward them with the
"franchise" designation and renew them with 52 card contracts.
Renew everyone else that is eligible for renewal for 26 cards.
8.7.2. Should your roster fall below 20 wrestlers don't hire
ANYONE else yet, as there will be rules for this in week 27. And
should your roster no longer have the minimum 10 heels and 10
faces with the turns that took place this week, that is okay as
well. There will be a "fix" for this at the end of week 27.
9. Month 7
9.1. Long-term planning
9.1.1. Month 7 is a 4 week month.
9.1.2. Beginning this month after week #27, your roster should
have a minimum of 24 wrestlers, with a minimum of 11 heels and
11 faces (the other 2 are up to you to decide, but remember an
even number on both sides is best).
9.1.3. Starting with week 27, begin building a singles feud that
won't end until a specific rule on week 32.
9.2. Week #27
9.2.1. Your opening match should be a #1 contenders match for
your tag team titles. The winner of the match gets a title match
on week #28.
9.2.1.1. For the teams in this match, one should be a team that
usually tags in your circuit, while the other team should
feature a wrestler on your roster that is bringing a "friend",
using the "m" key, to your circuit to form a new tag team.
9.2.2. Last week, you brought in two mystery wrestlers. Have
them face off with each other again this week.
9.2.3. Your office seems to have found an open contract with
your tag team champions names on it. Have your champions face a
mystery team, thay you have hand picked, in a non-title match.
9.2.4. Have another of your regular tag teams also face a
mystery team this time using the "m" key to choose.
9.2.5. If anyone didn't renew and they are in their last night
of their contract, they must wrestle to fulfil their contractual
obligations on the card. However, give at least two wrestlers
that renewed their contracts tonight off.
9.2.6. In your main event, your singles champion thinks he's a
pretty tough guy. He is begging ANYONE from the back to meet him
tonight. Using the "r" key, give your champion a random
challenger from your roster.
9.3. Special Post Week 27 cleanup rule
9.3.1. Make sure that you are checking your roster so that you
now have at least 24 wrestlers, with at least 11 being heels and
11 being faces
9.3.1.1. If you have more than 24 wrestlers, this is okay, do
nothing.
9.3.1.2. If you have less than 24 wrestlers, then hire enough to
get to the 24 count (there shouldn't be much of a chance of this
happening though)
9.4. Week #28
9.4.1. Your opening match tonight should be a 6 man tag
featuring 6 wrestlers from the 4 on 4 elimination match on week
#26.
9.4.2. Your two singles wrestlers that debuted in the
unsanctioned match at week #26 and that fought again last week,
should now decide to team up and face one of the teams that was
brought in last week.
9.4.3. In your main event, your tag team champions should defend
against the team that won the #1 contenders match last week.
9.4.4. You may give up to three wrestlers this week off, but
everyone that debuted last week MUST be on this card.
9.4.5. Try to make the majority of the matches this week tag
team bouts.
9.5. Week #29
9.5.1. Your opening match, a semi-main event, should be a number
1 contenders match that features the team that lost the #1
contender match at week #27 facing a tag team that won on week
#27 but was not in the #1 contender match.
9.5.2. Have the 6 wrestlers that were in last week's opening
match pair off and face each other in 3 singles matches this
week.
9.5.3. Your team that formed last week with the two mystery men
from week 26 should again have a tag team match this week.
9.5.4. Your tag team champions should face the "m" key mystery
team that debuted in week 27 in a non-title match.
9.5.5. The team that you hand picked in week 27 should have
singles matches this week.
9.5.6. In your main event, your singles champion should face one
of the wrestlers that got last week off.
9.5.7. Again this week, you may give up to three wrestlers the
week off, but none of them should be any of the wrestlers that
were brought in this month as you are still trying to get them
over with the fans.
9.6. Week #30
9.6.1. In your opening match this week, you should have the two
wrestlers that turned on their team at week 26 face the two
wrestlers they turned on in a tag team match.
9.6.2. You should also have a one singles match featuring two
different wrestlers from the match mentioned in rule 9.6.1.
9.6.3. You should have a rematch from match last week in rule
9.5.3.
9.6.4. The fans loved the 6 man tag match on week #28. Give them
another 6 man tag, but none of the wrestlers in the one from
week #28 should be in this one.
9.6.5. You may give up to 3 wrestlers the night off again. And
again, they should only be guys that have not made their debut
for you this month.
9.6.6. Your main event should feature your tag team champions
defending against the #1 contenders as determined last week.
10. Month 8
10.1. Long-term planning

10.1.2. Your next major card will be in week 38 with a special

10.2. Week #31
10.2.1. This week your opening match should be a rematch of last
week's opening match.
10.2.2. The wrestler that got the win for his team in rule 9.6.4
(last week's 6 man tag match) should have a singles match
against someone on the roster that lost last week but was not in
the 6 man match.
10.2.3. From that same six man match from last week, have one
wrestler from each team face off in a singles match.
10.2.4. The two tag teams that were in last weeks main event,
should face each other again this week. However, it should be in
2 singles matches instead of in a tag team match.
10.2.5. In your main event, your single champ should defend his
title. This time however, it should be against someone that is
usually a tag team wrestler within your circuit.
10.2.6. You should give up to 2 wrestlers the week off.
10.3. Week #32 - major card
10.3.1. This weeks opening match should feature your singles
champion in a tag team match paired with one of the two
wrestlers from the match from rule 10.2.2 from last week.
10.3.2. The hand picked team that you brought in back in week 27
is looking for a fight, hire a new tag team and have them face
off. And one other thing... the team from week 27 has requested
that they are allowed to choose their own referee, and they want
it to be a wrestler from your roster. Give them what they want.
But also this wrestler should not be wrestling in ANY matches on
this card.

facing a mystery opponent using the "m" key.

This one should be a pinfall only match and it should be for
your tag team titles. This match should be a rematch of the
match from week #30.

refereeing a match on this card (as determined by the previous
rules), should wrestle this week.
10.4. Week #33
10.4.1. Your opening match this week should be a rematch from
rule 10.3.2 from last week.
10.4.2. Have the mystery wrestler that debuted last week,
wrestle again in a singles match this week but against someone
different than last week.
10.4.3. Just like in week #31, have your tag team champions

week, this week off.
10.4.7. You may give 1 other wrestler the week off, but you do

coming up in week #38. Be sure to hype that you will be having
this card which will be featuring a "royal rumble" style main
event match with 30 wrestlers!
10.5. Week #34
10.5.1. Your opening match this week should be a two of three
falls match. One team should consist of the mystery wrestler
that debuted in week 32 and another wrestler from your roster.
Their opponents should be the two wrestlers that the mystery
wrestler faced in week 32 and week 33.
10.5.2. Have a 6 man tag match on this card featuring your
singles champion on team and his opponent from last week on the
other team.
10.5.3. This week, put a wrestler that is normally in tag team
matches, in a singles match against a mystery opponent using the
"m" key. Have this mystery wrestler announce that he is going to
be in the in "rumble" match at week 38.
10.5.4. The four wrestlers that were in last week's opening
match should have singles matches against each other this week.
Have all four wrestlers sign up for the "rumble" at week 38.
10.5.5. Have the wrestler that refereed on week 32 also join the
"rumble" at week 38.
10.5.6. In your main event, your tag team champions should again
have face the team they faced in week 32.
10.5.7. By the end of this week, you should have 8 wrestlers of
the 30 total named for the "royal rumble" style match on week
38.
10.5.8. You have the option of giving one wrestler this week
off.
11. Month #9
11.1. Long-term planning
11.1.1. Month 9 is a 5 week month.
11.1.2. On week #38, you will be having a "royal rumble" style

lost the fall in last week's 6 man tag match face one half of
your tag team champions.
11.2.2. Have the two wrestlers that teamed with your singles
champion last week wrestle as a tag team this week.
11.2.3. The other member of your tag team champions not
wrestling in rule 11.2.1, should face one member of the team
your champions defended the titles against last week.
11.2.4. In your semi-main event this week, the four wrestlers
from rule 10.5.4, should again do battle tag team action against
each other. And due to the escalated tensions among them, this
one should be a no disqualification match.
11.2.5. Your main event this week should feature your singles
champion defending against someone that has not had a singles
title match in your circuit yet from the opposite side of the
roster from your current champion (i.e. if your champion is a
face, then his opponent should be a heel; if your champion is a
heel, then his opponent should be a face). If your champion has
already faced everyone on the opposite side of the roster, then
randomly select an opponent for them this week from your roster.
Also your referee for this match should be someone from your
referee staff other than your senior referee.
11.2.6. This week you should sign up 9 more members of your
roster for your "royal rumble" match in week #38 to bring the
total of wrestlers signed up to 17 of 30.

week #34.

match that features two wrestlers currently not under contract
to you. Using the "m" key book a singles match on this card.
This match will be just like the one you had in week #26. The
only difference is that the winner of the match this time will
be entered into the "royal rumble" match at week #38. The loser
will NOT appear on card #38 as punishment for losing this match.
11.3.4. One of your top tag teams is looking for some
competition. Give them a match using the "m" key to find them
suitable opponents for this week.
11.3.5. In your main event this week, have your tag team
champions defend against a team on your roster that has not held
your tag team titles yet. If every team has already held the
titles, then create a new team using two singles wrestlers.
11.3.6. Two of your franchise wrestlers are battling for your
approval in the "royal rumble" match. Announce that next week
two of your franchise wrestlers will be in the main event match.
The special stipulation being that the winner gets spot #30, the
loser gets spot #1 in the "royal rumble" match.
11.3.7. This week, you should have 1 wrestler on your roster
added to the "royal rumble" match at week #38, the 2 wrestlers
from rule 11.3.6 and 1 wrestler from rule 11.3.3 to bring the
total number signed up to a possible 21 wrestlers if your

cage on card #32 the week off. These two will have a rematch
next week that will anything goes, falls count anywhere.
11.4.5. Your singles champion should not wrestle this week, but
should make an appearance to challenge someone for next week for
a shot at the title. The challenge should be issued to someone
that has not had a singles title match yet.

spots remaining for your "royal rumble" match. We will fill
those next week.

should get the week off as next week is your big card with only
5 matches on it!

11.5.1. Special rules
11.5.1.1. You will need to hire 1 wrestler that will make his
debut in the "royal rumble" match.
11.5.1.2. If your singles champion has not already entered the
match, they should be entered in after their title match this
week.
11.5.1.3. You will need to book this card using email mode in
TNM. Once the card has been booked, make sure to switch BACK to
hired mode so that contracts will be recognized BEFORE RUNNING
the card. If you do not switch back, contracts will not be
recognized for this week and you will be out of sequence with
the rules.
11.5.1.3.1. The reason for doing this is that you are going to
be bringing back up to 4 wrestlers from your circuit's past for
one night only in the "royal rumble" match, which should round
out the 30 wrestlers needed for this match.
11.5.2. Your opening match this week should be for the tag team

one night only should attack someone that is already signed up
for the "royal rumble" and "take" their spot in the match.
11.5.6.2. You should book the order of entry into the match.
11.5.6.2.1. You already know that #1 should be the loser of last
week's main event and #30 is the winner of the same match.

of the guys making a return appearance for one night only.

11.5.6.2.5. Your current singles champion, if it is not one of
your franchise wrestlers already placed, should be placed in
spot #25.
11.5.6.2.6. And 1 wrestler of your final 10 entrants should be
one of the guys making a return appearance for one night only.

have the week off, especially the wrestler that lost the
unsanctioned match on week #36.
11.6. Week #39
11.6.1. Your opening match should be for the #1 contender spot

11.3.4. Begin to tease one of the teams as possibly splitting
up.

kind of controversial ending to the match as this will be used
in month 10.

week as you will be doing evaluations on your talent soon.
12. Month #10

make a save at some point either during or after the match for
the face wrestler from rule 13.2.6.
14.2.8. Have everyone on your roster work this week, unless they
are injured.
14.3. Week #49 - Big Year End Card
14.3.1. Your opening match should be some sort of hardcore
gimmick match not used yet between the two wrestlers that have
been feuding for a while. The wrestlers from rule 13.2.6 should
once again meet in the ring. And while you are at it... give
them a main event like time limit, let them have a chance to
work for 60 minutes if needed.
14.3.2. If your tag team champions retained the titles on week
#47, have them face a team that was on your original roster. And
in another match have the team that debuted on week #47 face the
team that debuted on week #48.
14.3.2.1. Have a wrestler not working in any match this week,
interfere against the challengers to the tag team titles.
14.3.3. If your tag team champions won their titles on week #47,
have them defend against the team that debuted on week #48. And
have the team that lost the titles on #47 face a team from your
original roster.
14.3.3.1. Have a wrestler not working in any match this week,
interfere against the challengers to the tag team titles.
14.3.4. It's time to determine a new #1 contender tag team. Have
the team that won the match from rule 14.2.2 face the two
partners that the heel chose for last week's main event in a tag
team match.
14.3.5. In a tag team match, have the team that lost the match
for rule 14.2.2 face a team made up of the special referee from
rule 14.2.5 and the losing member of the team from rule 14.2.5.
14.3.6. Have the wrestlers from the 6 man gimmick tag match on
week #44 face off in 1 tag team match and 1 singles match.
14.3.7. And in your main event, have your singles champion face
the winner of the "royal rumble" match from week #44.
14.3.8. Have a wrestler not working a match this week interfere
against the challengers for your tag team titles.
14.3.9. You may give up to 6 wrestlers this week off, and
remember this is supposed to be your top card of the year, so
make sure all your big stars are working this card.
14.4. Week #50
14.4.1. In your opening match, have the wrestler that interfere
against your tag team challengers last week, face one member of
that tag team in singles action.
14.4.2. Have a rematch from your #1 contenders tag team match
last week.
14.4.3. Have a team that won a tag team match last week face the
special referee from last week and new partner chosen using the
"m" key.
14.4.3.1. The wrestler that comes in using the "m" key should be
making special one time only appearance this week.
14.4.4. Have the winners of your match between the debuting
teams from weeks #47 and #48 from last week, face the losers of
the other match from the rule last week that made them wrestle.
14.4.5. Have the 8 wrestlers from rule 13.5.4 face each other in
an 8 man tag gimmick match.
14.4.6. In your main event this week, have your singles champion
face the wrestler that won the opening match on week #48.
14.4.7. Give the two wrestlers from the opening match last week,
this week off. Also give the loser of last week's main event
this week off. Also, give one wrestler that had last week off,
this week off again. You may have up to 6 wrestlers off this
week.
14.4.8. The wrestler that interfered against your tag team title
challengers last week is in need of a new tag team partner. Hire
someone from outside your circuit to a 26 card contract and have
them both interfere against the wrestler challenging for your
singles title this week. The newly hired wrestler should not
make their wrestling debut until next week.
14.4.9. Also this week, name your #1 seed team for your 16 team
tournament that will be happening on weeks 53 and 54. The #1
seed should be your tag team champions as of this week.
14.5. Week #51
14.5.1. In the opening match this week, have the two wrestlers
that battled in the opening match on week #49, team up to face
the wrestler that jumped the heel from the first team in this
rule and a partner from the roster (if they have a normal
partner, use them).
14.5.2. Have one of your tag teams that lost on week #49, split
this week and face each other in a match. Turn one of them to
the opposite side so this match is heel vs face.
14.5.3. Have a #1 contender singles match this week. One
wrestler should be one of the four wrestlers that debuted on
weeks #47 and #48. The other wrestler should be the wrestler
that brought in a mystery partner last week using the "m" key.
14.5.4. Have the wrestler that you hired last week and his tag
team partner work a tag team match this week.
14.5.5. Your main event this week should feature your tag team
champions facing the #1 contenders.
14.5.6. You may give up to 7 wrestlers this week off.
14.5.7. Also, this week you should release your pairings for
your 16 team tag team tournament. Your #2 seed should be the
team that was the #1 contender going into this week's main
event. All first round matches should be heel vs face, which
means at this point, you need to have at least 15 faces and 15
heels on your roster. Also in the tourney seeds, the wrestler
that was the special referee on card #49, should be included in
the seeding, but should NOT have a partner yet. And the two
wrestlers that worked in the main event on card #49 should NOT
be included in the tournament.
14.6. Week #52
14.6.1. Your opening match this week, should be a tag team match
that features 1 wrestler from each match from one half of your
brackets.
14.6.2. Your special guest referee from week #48 seems to be
having trouble with tag team partners. Have him bring in a new
partner he can trust using the "m" key. And have this newly
formed team face a team from the same half of the brackets that
they will be on.
14.6.3. Have one team from one half of the brackets face a team
from the other half of the brackets.
14.6.4. Have a tag team match that is actually scheduled for the
first round of your tournament.
14.6.5. Have an 8 man tag team match featuring your top 4 seeds.
This does not have to be 4 heels vs 4 faces. It could also be 2
faces, 2 heels vs 4 heels or 2 face, 2 heels vs 4 faces. It
should not be 2 faces, 2 heels vs 2 faces, 2 heels.
14.6.6. In your main event this week, have your singles champion
face the #1 contender that was determined last week.
14.6.7. You may have up to 5 wrestlers have this week off.
14.7. Special week 52 post event rules for contracts
14.7.1. You should have a number of wrestlers with contracts
that will be expiring after this card.
14.7.2. Reward two more franchise contracts for 52 cards in
addition to any franchise wrestlers whose contracts may be up
for renewal. The two wrestlers getting the franchise contracts
should be from the same side of the roster (either both heels or
both faces). Renew as many other contracts as you can for 26
cards just like usual.
15. Year 2 -
Month #1
15.1. Long-term planning
15.1.1. This month you have your yearly tag team tournament.
15.1.1.1. You need to sign a wrestler that is going to be the
advertising sponsor for the tournament on week 54.
15.1.2. After the tag team tournament is done this month, you
need to move your focus to your yearly one night only singles
tournament.
15.1.3. At this point, your roster should have a minimum of 15
heels and 15 faces with a minimum of 32 wrestlers in order to be
able to fill out your tag team tournament brackets for this
month.
15.2. Week #53 - tag tourney night 1
15.2.1. This week, using the pairings that you created last
week, have the first round of your tournament. (do not use the
tournament function in TNM since this tournament is going to be
running over two cards.)
15.2.2. Once the first round is complete, you should then have
your only singles match of the night.
15.2.2.1. This match should either feature a non-title rematch
from week 49's main event singles match OR should feature two
wrestlers not signed up for the tag team tournament.
15.2.2.2. Also, this singles match should be considered the main
event even though it is in the middle of the card tonight. So
treat it as such.
15.2.3. Now go ahead and put the round 2 matches on this card.
Using the "W" key when booking, have your first round winners
face off based on your brackets.
15.2.4. This week, you need to find a way to include everyone on
your roster on this card in some fashion.
15.3. Week #54 - tag tourney night 2
15.3.1. Last week, one of the teams still remaining in the
tournament was getting an unusual reaction from the fans. So
move one team to the opposite side of the roster from where they
currently are (heel to face or face to heel)
15.3.2. Your card this week should open with the two semi-final
matches of your tournament. In one of these matches, the
wrestler you hired last week as your tournament sponsor should
make an appearance at ringside.
15.3.3. Your singles champion has a rematch from week 52 to take
care of.
15.3.4. Last week there were two teams in the first round that
had some unsettled business. This week, have them face off in
either a no countout match.
15.3.5. Picking one team from each half of the brackets that
lost in the first round, have them face off in a #1 contenders
match.
15.3.6. In your tournament final, set up the match using the "w"
key. This match should have a 60 minute time limit. And that
tournament sponsor that you hired... well, he paid GOOD money to
sponsor this and now he wants to be the referee for this match.
Give him what he wants since he paid for it.
15.3.7. This week, give the loser of the singles match from last
week, the week off unless they are in the tag team tournament.
Also, you may give up to 6 wrestlers this week off.
15.4. Week #55
15.4.1. The team that lost the first match last week should face
a different team in the opening match, team that might have cost
them the tournament last week.
15.4.2. Have the tournament sponsor that was a referee in the
main event last week, face one of the losing wrestlers from the
main event in singles action.
15.4.3. Have a 6 man tag team match this week. You can choose
the participants from your roster.
15.4.4. Have a non-hardcore gimmick match this week.
15.4.5. Have two wrestlers that did not work last week issue an
open challenge for a tag team match next week.
15.4.5.1. These two should be the ONLY two wrestlers that didn't
work last week to not work again this week. Everyone else that
had last week off should be working on the card.
15.4.6. From rule 14.5.2 on week 51, have the face wrestler work
a singles match against another heel from your roster. And have
the heel wrestler from that same rule be the special referee for
this match.
15.4.7. In your main event this week have your #1 contenders
from last week face the tournament winner for last week. And if
neither team is your tag team champions, make it a triangle
match to include your champions as well, as this match is to be
for you tag team titles!
15.4.8. This week in addition to rule 15.4.5, you may give up to
5 other wrestlers the week off from wrestling. However, it is
time to add something new to your circuit. Give the wrestlers
not working some type of interview or promo segment on your card
this week. If the fans like it, it may become a regular feature.
15.5. Week #56
15.5.1. Have the team that won the opening match last week, work
the opening match again this week. This time they should face
the team that lost in the tournament final on week 54.
15.5.1.1. Have the team that lost last week's opening match
interfere in this match.
15.5.2. This week you need to have two qualifier singles matches
for your yearly 8 match single elimination tournament coming up
on week 60.
15.5.3. Have some type of hardcore gimmick match this week
featuring two of the wrestlers that did not wrestle on week 54.
15.5.4. Have two heels that would normally not team together in
your circuit team up to take on a face from your roster and a
mystery partner using the "m" key.
15.5.4.1. After this match, have the face from the roster turn
on his partner. And have the heels argue about which one the
former face is going to side with. But do not settle this quite
yet.
15.5.5. Put the wrestlers from rule 15.4.6 into a 6 man tag
match. The heels need to bring one partner, while the face
should bring one of the teams from last week's main event match.
15.5.6. Have the open challenge tag team match from last week.
Give the match to a team that is not already scheduled on this
week's card.
15.5.7. In your main event, have your singles champion face a
member from the opposite side of the roster that has not had a
singles title match yet.
15.5.8. This week, you may give up to 6 wrestlers the week off
from in ring action. The fans responded well to last week's
interviews. So again this week, give the wrestlers not appearing
on the card in some fashion (run-in, sneak attack, referee) a
chance to be heard in interview segments, so the fans won't
forget everyone on your roster.
16. Year 2 - Month #2
16.1. Long-term planning
16.1.1. This month will build toward your yearly singles
tournament that will be happening on week #60.
16.2. Week #57
16.2.1. In your opening match, have the two wrestlers that lost
their qualifier matches last week wrestle against each other.
16.2.2. You should schedule a semi-main event for your #1
contenders for your tag team titles. One of the teams should be
the team that won the opening match last week.
16.2.3. Again this week you need to have two more qualifier
singles matches for your yearly 8 match single elimination
tournament coming up on week 60.
16.2.4. Last year in your WarGames match, you had a wrestler
retire. Rumor has it he is trying to get a new contract with
you. Sign this wrestler to a 26 card contract and have them
reappear this week.
16.2.5. Have the two heels from rule 15.5.4 team up again this
week and have them to continue to argue with each other.
16.2.6. From the 6-man tag match last week, have the wrestler
that won the match wrestle the one that lost the match in
singles competition this week.
16.2.7. The team that issued the open challenge in rule 15.5.6
still is unhappy with their opposition. Using the "m" key bring
in a new tag team for them to face this week.
16.2.8. Have the two wrestlers that won their qualifier matches
last week face each other in singles matches.
16.2.9. In your main event, have your tag team champions defend
their titles against any team on your roster.
16.2.10. This week you may give up to 8 wrestlers the week off.
Of those getting the week off from wrestling, have at least 4 of
them cut some type of promo/interview for your weekly interview
segment that the fans are really getting into.
16.3. Week #58
16.3.1. In your opening match, have the team that lost in the
main event last week wrestle against any two wrestlers from your
roster.
16.3.2. Again this week you need to have two more qualifier
singles matches for your yearly 8 match single elimination
tournament coming up on week 60. This should bring the total
number qualified to 6.
16.3.3. Have a 6-man tag team match this week with one team
headed by one of the arguing heels from rule 16.2.5 facing off
against a team headed by the other heel from rule 16.2.5. And
there should be a special referee as well. Have the face that
brought a mystery partner in rule 15.5.4 be this referee as both
of the heels are bidding for his services and he still hasn't
decided which team to side with yet.
16.3.4. Have your #1 tag team contenders that were decided last
week face off against the tag team champions in singles matches
this week.
16.3.5. In your main event, have a rematch from your singles
title match at card #56.
16.3.6. Again this week you may give up to 8 wrestlers the week
off. And also again this week do the promo/interviews with those
not working on the card. Have the promos focus around the
tournament along with a battle royal next week for the final
spot for those not qualified.
16.4. Week #59
16.4.1. Have your #1 contenders take on any tag team from your
roster that won a match last week.
16.4.2. Have the seventh and final singles match qualifier this
week.
16.4.3. Again this week have a 6 man tag match. But this week
one team should be three heels that were not in last week's 6
man tag and their opponents should be three faces that were not
in that match either.
16.4.4. Have a tag team rematch from last week's 6 man tag. Take
two wrestlers from each team and put them into this match. Again
this week, have the same special guest referee that both teams
are trying to recruit.
16.4.5. Have the wrestlers from one of last week's qualifier
matches choose a partner from the roster and have a tag team
match this week.
16.4.6. In the first of two main event matches, have your tag
team champions defend against the #1 contenders that wrestled in
the opening match.
16.4.7. And in the second of the main events, you should have a
qualifier battle royal that features all of the wrestlers that
have not yet qualified for the tournament next week.
16.4.7.1. This year any wrestler that lost a qualifier match is
NOT allowed to be in this battle royal.
16.4.8. This week the only wrestlers getting the week off should
be anyone that is injured. Also have your promo/interview
segment this week. It should center around hyping up the one
night singles tournament for next week, and should have your #1
seed featured in at least one of the interviews.
16.5. Week #60 - singles tournament
16.5.1. You should only have tournament matches this week. There
should be 7 of them in all.
16.5.2. Schedule the first round of the tournament using singles
matches.
16.5.3. Using the "w" key book round 2.
16.5.4. Using the "w" key book your main event. You have decided
to have a special referee for the main event. Give this duty to
the same wrestler that has been referee on the last two cards in
tag team matches.
16.5.5. If you have any wrestlers that are injured, have at
least one of them make a special appearance this week on the
card.
16.5.6. Do your weekly promo/interview segment with wrestlers
not in the tournament this week.
